Department by Fred Baumert with Nebraska Health & Human Services for a 2007
Water Fluoridation Quality Award for the City of Fairbury.

Discussion and consideration
of appointing a City Street Superintendent for 2008.

Discussion and consideration
of aerial truck bids received for the fire department.
4.
Discussion and consideration
of advertising for bids for selling the snorkel truck for the fire
department.
5.
Discussion and consideration
of waiving the fee for the U.S. Census Bureau to use
the Community Building for census testing to
hire individuals.
6.
Consideration of Letter of
Agreement with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local
Union 1536, (IBEW) and the City of Fairbury adding language to the current
union contract regarding the insurance pool.

RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES
1.
Resolution No. 703
authorizing the City to levy special assessments against certain properties
for nuisance abatements.
2.
Resolution No. 704 authorizing
the Mayor and Council to proceed with the construction of improvements in
Street Improvement District No. 2008-1.
3.
Resolution No. 705 directs the
Fairbury Board of Health with inspecting and reviewing properties for
compliance with the Fairbury Municipal Code regarding nuisances.
4.
Resolution No. 706 adopting
the 2008 and 2013 One and Six Year Street Improvement Plan as revised.
