
With the holiday rush upon us, it's easy to forget things that need to be taken care of...
As a reminder, the City of Fairbury requires any person who owns, keeps or harbors a dog over the age of 6 months within the City limits to license the dog each year beginning January 1. Any applications received after January 10 will be considered delinquent.
Licenses are issued by the City of Fairbury. An application can be obtained by printing it online (click here) or picking it up at the City Clerks office.
Fees are: | 1st Male or Female Dog | $8.00 |
| 1st Spayed or Neutered Dog | $3.00 |
| Additional Male/Female Dog | $4.00 |
| Additional Spayed/Neutered Dog | $2.00 |
Completed applications should be brought to the City Clerk's Office with the following:
- Rabies vaccination issued by veterinarian
- Spay or Neuter Verification
- Payment of License Fee for each Neutered/Unneutered Dog (not to exceed 3 dogs)
Dog licenses are not transferable from owner to owner
